The 9th IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC 2013) will be held on October 15-18, 2013, in Beijing, China.

Beijing, China's capital city, is one of the world's greatest ancient capitals, and is a must-see destination (TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice® 2012 Winner). It features hundreds (if not thousands) of famous historic, cultural and scenic spots. It provides almost all kinds of authentic Chinese cuisine. For those who have visited Beijing a couple of years ago, the fast developing city deserves your visit again. VPPC is the flagship conference of IEEE for advanced vehicles and this makes VPPC of significant importance with unprecedented responsibilities. There is a dire need to educate the public, train the students, engineers, and scientists, research fundamental and groundbreaking solutions, innovate new technologies, develop cost-effective and better products, and finally commercialize more environmental friendly vehicles.
